comics 5 ( 3 points)

The first comic I read was 'Cheech Wizard.' The plot was mainly about a wizard hat with legs being a challenge to a Russian officer's space race. The story was based on some propaganda where the cap, which I am assuming is Cheech, made fun of the proud Russian and his beliefs most of the time. And the more I think about it; they are probably talking about the real space race where the U.S and other countries were fighting to get to the moon but played in a fun and silly cartoon way. The rest of the comic was just the hat going on mini adventures and getting into trouble while using more adult topics and profanity. The next one I read was The little green dinosaur no1. It was a small green dino walking into a castle, cleaning and dusting off a rug where a Djinn lived inside who threw him into a portal for an adventure. In the first story, the Wizard of Oz, it played the whole story, but with a lizard instead of Dorthy and honesty until he finds the wizard and goes off to another story. It was relatively tame at first for an underground comic; however, the second story is still sex and nudity, and it was just the dino hitting on girls. It was quite jarring that the main character was so drawn, and the backgrounds were so detailed, which furthered him being out of place in this story.  I find it a common theme within some of these "adult" comics. It seems more pornography and profanity than the story, which is not something that interests me personally.  I didn't get very far with the reading, for I started to get the point it was pretty tiring. The second comic I read was the Fabulous Freaks fat Freddy's cat. The story was about three hippies smoking weed and getting into hijinks but being scared, they will get caught by the cops for smoking weed. It was a fun read. Then, I read TitsnClits, which, based on the name, I assume, would have a lot of nudity and cursing. However, I was happy to see that it was about female experience regarding sex. I found it a bit refreshing among the other stories so far. It was interesting to see all of these stories be relatable, unlike the others that show sex for humor or shock. It was also very nice to see some WlW content representing the LGBTQ community s well in this women comic. But some of the jokes did go a bit overboard, like the sex addiction story. I told some comics to talk about sexual liberation for women.    Then I read the complete wimmin's comics, and It ain't Me babe, and it was more about liberation from a woman's perspective. The stories were much more surreal, and they focused on mainly empowering women saving other women sticking together.  I thought it was funny seeing all the famous comic girls come together and make their club.
